Capcom has told videogaming247 that Street Fighter IV – even the arcade version – is only 50-60 percent complete, despite how amazingly wickedly amazing it already looks.
Speaking to us over a few rounds of networked arcade fighting in the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco, a Capcom rep also refused to confirm PS3 and 360 versions.
“Although,” he said, “obviously it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Street Fighter IV ended up on home consoles.” No, it wouldn’t.
Is it any good then? Yes. Very yes. The combination of familiar SF II move-sets, the combo and revenge meters and some incredibly sexy graphics add up to a game that should have the art and accessibility to both reel people in and the depth to sustain their interest.
Capcom also said that there’s much more to be revealed, and even a few things active in the current build that the developer hasn’t talked about.
You’d probably have to be better at SF than us to figure them out, but we can exclusively reveal that the way new female character Crimson Viper’s tie sits cushioned between her heaving bosoms is moderately erotic. No one else seems to be talking about that.
Street Fighter IV is due to hit Japanese arcades in late July.
