Amazon worldwide sales charts – Week ending April 4

By Patrick Garratt

Another week, another smash. After Capcom announced that Monster Hunter 2nd G hit 1 million sales in six days on Tuesday, it wouldn’t have taken a genius to work out what’s top of the Amazon PSP charts for Japan this time round.

In fact, as far PSP’s concerned, there’s not much change at all this week as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII still leads the US charts with God of War: Chains of Olympus keeping hold of pole position in the UK.

With Wii Fit being Japan’s best selling game of FY 07, there’s no surprise to see it sitting pretty atop the Japanese Wii chart. Also, as expected, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 08 heads up Wii in the UK, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl still leads the way in the US.

If fact, there are no big shocks at all this week, with CoD4 continuing to sell well for PC, PS3 and 360 in the US and UK.

Maybe it has something to do with a rather sparse release list.
