British firm Avanquest has announced a furthering of a deal with Sega that will see Phantasy Star Universe, Virtual Tennis, Sega Rally and Medieval 2: Total War released (again) for PC in the UK.
The company already distributes a bunch of old Sega games in Britain, including Sonic Mega Collection and Rome: Total War.
The titles will end up in major retailers, like GAME, PC World, WH Smith, Amazon.co.uk, Play.com, Zawi, Morrisons and Tesco.

SEGA EUROPE RENEWS AND EXTENDS LICENSING DEAL WITH AVANQUEST
LEADING UK CONSUMER SOFTWARE AND GAMES PUBLISHER AVANQUEST SOFTWARE ADDS FURTHER TITLES TO SEGA RANGE
Avanquest Software Publishing, formerly known as GSP and one of the UK’s leading consumer software and games publishers, has had its licensing deal with SEGA® Europe renewed and extended. The deal will renew the existing agreement that includes the ever popular Sonic Mega Collection and Rome: Total War, whilst also adding a number of new, exciting products to Avanquest’s SEGA range.
The new products, to include the recently released ‘Phantasy Star Universe,’ ‘Virtual Tennis,’ ‘SEGA Rally,’ and ‘Medieval 2: Total War,’ will complement and enhance Avanquest Software Publishing’s range of popular games titles. These new titles will be available in 2008 through major retail outlets including GAME, PC World, WH Smith, Amazon.co.uk, Play.com, Zawi, Morrisons and Tesco.

Avanquest Software Publishing has sold over 300,000 units of SEGA licensed titles since October 2006. Throughout this period, many of the titles have consistently appeared in the top 20 PC entertainment charts (budget price).
