The Halo Legends DVD has a date with North America and Europe on February 16, and will come in a standard edition, a two-disc special edition, and Blu-ray.
The regular ol’ DVD will run you $19.98, the double disc $29.98, and Blu-ray $34.99 – although Amazon prices vary thanks to a sale.
This eight-episode anthology contains episodes at 10-15 minutes in length, and in case you have been living in a cave or did not watch the shows via Halo Waypoint, the anime explores the origin and historical events of the Halo universe.
The two-disc special edition contains:
- The Making of Halo Legends
- Halo: Gaming Evolved – Explaining the Halo “phenomenon”
- Audio Commentary with directors Frank O’Connor and Joseph Chou
The Blu-ray contains the same, plus a Halo special feature titled Halo: The Story so Far.
