Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has told the NYT that Apple’s recently revealed iPad is really just “a bigger iPod Touch”.
Guess he wasn’t impressed either, then.
“It was a bigger iPod Touch,” he said.
“There were no surprises for me.”
He also shrugged off suggestions he made recently that motion control would be included into the next DS, as well as Pachter’s favourite rumour, Wii HD.
“I question whether those features would be enough to get people to buy new machines.”
This week, it was rumoured that Iwata had seen tech from 3DV Systems for a new basis of motion control for Wii.
He refused. That same tech later went on to be the basis for Natal.
