BioWare head Ray Muzyka has said he expects Mass Effect 3 to surpass the quality bar achieved by its predecessor this year.
“It’s all going to be about quality, you know,” said Muzyka. “It’s striving for quality. Mass Effect 2 set a really high quality bar for us as a studio group, and, hey, we want Mass Effect 3 to exceed that.”
As for how much of a turnaround we’ll see between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, the doctor didn’t exactly specify.
BioWare’s already said the trilogy should end on this cycle of consoles.
Series project director Casey Hudson also reckons it’ll be ‘late 11 or early ’12 before the third game’s out.
But at least we’ve got more Mass Effect 2 DLC incoming, innit.
Thanks, Joystiq.
