The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) has announced that it’s to change its name to UK Interactive Entertainment Association.
The change was approved at a meeting today, and while the ELSPA will keep the old name for the time being, the change will come sometime this summer to better reflect the industry it represents.
“The ELSPA Board proposed the change to the organization’s name to reflect the evolving and expanding nature of the industry,” read a statement, “which the association exists to represent, and to encompass the new areas of activity that will be undertaken.
“ELSPA will be engaging regularly with its members during the process to learn their views and wishes for the new organization.”
