FREEDOM WINS AGAIN!
A slew of great Canadians were at the closing ceremony. The kid who won Canadian Idol sang some song. Also: Neil Young, Alanis Morrisette, Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble, and even much-loved Canadian band Nickelback.

NBC tried to pump viewers up for its next Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia with ballet, opera, and people in hamster balls.
They then reminded viewers that for the first time in 60 years Russia won zero figure skating medals and cut to a great quote from Russian Prime Minister Putin, "Of course we expected more from our team, but that's not cause to throw up our hands, wear a sackcloth and ashes or beat ourselves with chains."
Ummm...
Sackcloths and chains! Can’t wait, Russia! See you in 2014! And, now back to our regular NBC programming!
What did you think of the Games?
