Epic VP Mark Rein’s has said that playing with OnLive was an excellent experience, and that only the “super hardcore” will notice lag.
“I was just blown away how well it plays,” he said, speaking to Gama after playing Unreal Tournament 3 on the Clud service at DICE last month.
“If you’re that super hardcore player who plays it on the most asskicking-est PC money can buy, you notice lag… maybe everything isn’t turned up to 12, but if you’re a gamer who doesn’t want to go erect a big fancy pc like that… it’s really fun.”
OnLive has now confirmed it’s to launch in the US on June 17 at $15 per month, plus the cost of games.
OnLive allows you to play games on any computer, theoretically, will the games themselves being played remotely.
