Pokemon Black/White’s featured in this week’s Famitsu, with screens and bit of new information on the title.

1UP reports that Black/White will  feature a battle system that has the camera switching viewpoints, and fighters casting shadows on the ground.

Pokemon are still 2D.

“As you can tell from the screenshots, Pokemon Black/White’s adventure takes place in an area different in nature from before,” a Pokemon rep told Famitsu. “The new story that unfolds in this place, along with the never-seen-before Pokemon you’ll encounter, will allow both old fans and people who haven’t played the other games to enjoy the experience without preconceptions.”

Over an Andriasang, screenshots and information from Coro Coro Comics reveal newcomer Pokemon Zorua and Zoroark in action, with 3D backgrounds taking place from a 3/4 perspective.

According to the magazine, there will also be more intense battle scenes, more realistic towns, the Pokemon Center will contain more shops separate from the reception desk, and a third evolution, which was revealed through a screen of a dungeon and a town.

Both Black and White are tentatively scheduled for fall in Japan on DS, with the US and UK getting it sometime after its release.
