It's a Space Party!

This weekend in New York City was Yuri's Night 2010 -- a party toasting Yuri Gagarin, the first human in space.

The event was supported by the Space Tourism Society and offered door prizes like free admission to the 2010 NewSpace Conference. So Christmas came early for some lucky Jedi.

Smosh Pit photographer Eric Harvey Brown was there to capture the out-of-this-world night, which featured a space-inspired fashion show and choreographed light saber battles.

If you thought you were gonna' get space tourism, you were out of luck. Mostly just a bunch of dudes with light sabers.
