Some problems with the latest PS3 firmware update are being reported by some users.
According to posts over on the PlayStation forums, Sony’s mandatory firmware update 3.21 is causing some to experience blank screens switching the console on, disc read errors, locked PSN accounts, and not being able to power up the system at all.
Sony has yet to respond to the claims, but you may want to keep an eye on the forums.
The latest update removes the option to use other OS on the machine, like Linux.

Thanks, Peach.
