Just a friendly reminder that this is your last weekend to play original Xbox games on Live, as the service shuts down on April 15.
Fittingly enough, that is also Tax Day in the US. Go figure. Double crap day.
This means Conker: Live and Reloaded (cry), Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Halo 2, Counter-Strike, Fable, Splinter Cell: Chaos, Doom 3, SW: Republic Commando, and many others will no longer be playable online.
However, the service cutoff will help Microsoft implement more new features, which is possibly an extended friends list, should you be one of the popular folks with more than 100 people vying to be on your list.
Thanks, Joystiq.
