A four-year-old boy fell head first 30 feet over the edge of a building and was caught by a stranger standing on the street.
The 21-year-old man caught the boy by the foot just before his head hit the ground. Actually, they think the boy's head may have grazed the ground slightly because of a bump on his head. If this man had been just a second later, then he would have been holding a body with a smashed head.
And that’s just gross.
This boy’s life was saved because the man went outside for a cigarette.
They say smoking kills. Well, not if you're awesome at catching. If these certain events didn’t happen this kid probably wouldn’t be living to see another day.
This man actually said he isn’t very good at catching, but lucky for this boy the guy wasn’t his usual butterfingers self.
A child is probably one of the worst things you could fumble and drop.
So the kid was released from the hospital with minor cuts and scrapes because he did hit a light fixture on the way down. What I really want to know is where this kid's parents were, why they weren’t the ones saving his life?
Seems it would have been a lot easier to save him from the top of the building by just reaching out and telling him that falling head first to the ground isn’t a good way to go through life.
Just my opinion.
