Those wondering why Nintendo’s Wii Vitality Sensor was absent from E3 should instead look froward to seeing it at a different event.
That’s according to NOA’s Cammie Dunaway, who told GameSetWatch that E3’s “noisy and adrenaline-filled” atmosphere just seemed the wrong venue for such a product debut.
“We’re continuing to work on the Vitality Sensor, [and] as we thought about what we wanted to bring to E3, we realized we had a really packed agenda,” she said.
“We also thought about the atmosphere at E3 which is noisy and adrenaline-filled, and loud and stressful, and it just didn’t seem like the best environment to introduce a product that’s really about relaxing, so we decided we’d think about other venues that would be more appropriate.”
No word on whether the venue is TGS or not, but that does not seem like a very “relaxing” venue either – especially if what she hinted around at was Wii Relax.
