Konami’s told VG247 that decisions on gamescom showings for Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater are yet to be made.
Yesterday, the publisher was the first to announce its line-up for the German event, with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, Def Jam Rapstar and Kinect games all confirmed.
But a Konami rep told us this morning the list was just “provisional.”
“Decisions on Rising and Snake Eater 3DS will be made nearer the time,” he said.
“That provisional list will continue to change on an ongoing basis.”
MGS: Rising had its big coming out party at E3, with first footage shown in the Microsoft press conference, first story info released, first screens and more.
MGS 3D, meanwhile, was announced at Nintendo’s E3 press conference. It soon turned out to be a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
gamescom takes place in Cologne between August 18-22.
