8 Star Wars Moments We DON'T Want To See In 3-D

C.J. Arabia

20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm have announced that they are going to re-release the Star Wars flim saga in 3-D. February 2012 is the projected re-release date for the first film in the series.

They are starting with "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace." Then, they are talking about re-releasing a different movie each year until all of the films have been adapted to 3-D.

"There are few movies that lend themselves more perfectly to 3D; from the Death Star trench run to the Tatooine Podrace, the Star Wars Saga has always delivered an entertainment experience that is completely immersive." Said StarWars.com.

Regardless of how awesome Star Wars is... there are however, at least 8 moments in the Star Wars series that we DON'T want to see in 3-D.

Luke And Leia Kiss

Grooooosssss! What could be grosser than a brother and sister kissing on the mouth in giant 3-D action?

Greedo Shoots First

When Star Wars (the first one) was released, Han shot Greedo, the bounty hunter, without warning. This established Han as a dangerous badass. In the late 90's when Lucas "enhanced" the original trilogy, Greedo shot first (AND MISSED) and only then did Han return fire, turning Han from a dangerous rouge into a guy who is hard to shoot from 1 foot away. Seeing this travesty in glorious 3D might be too much to handle. Plus, there's a possiblity that Lucas will make this secne even worse. Like, Han gives him a valentine or something.

Jar Jar Binks

I don't want to see Jar Jar Binks in 3-D, 2-D, 1-D, not in any D. Jar Jar Binks kind of ruined Star Wars for me for ever. The only 3D Jar Jar I want to see is if they have him eaten by a rancor monster.

Annikan (AKA Darth Vader) Being Called "Annie" Over And Over

Oh Annie! Annie this and Annie that... too much Annie! This isn't a musical! No wonder the kid snapped.

Anakin Killing A Bunch Of Toddlers, Then Still Expecting Padme To Love Him...

Killing small defenseless children is pretty much the ultimate dealbreaker, Annie.

Anakin and Padme's "Romantic" Diagloue...

The painfully boring and stiff romantic dialogue can only be made more painful in romantic 3-D action. You could shoot the movie in 4D, and these characters would still be one-dimensional.

Luke whining Over And Over....

Darth Vader "Nooooooooo" Line At The End Of Episode III

DO NOT WANT.

What are some other moment's in the Star Wars series that you DON'T want to see in 3-D?
