Oh you. Did you honestly think they’d stop after four? Think again.
Resident Evil: Afterlife lead actress Milla Jovovich has told New York magazine Vulture that she’s planning a fifth movie with husband and director Paul W.S. Anderson.
Over the weekend Afterlife become the first movie in the series to go number one at the US box office, raking in $27.7 million.
It made $46.2 million internationally.
“This new Resident Evil is the first one to ever open at No. 1 worldwide. It’s the biggest movie in the franchise,” said Jovovich.
“So we’re definitely going to make another one.”
She added that fans are talking to her about the next movie on Twitter.
“We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process.”
