Murderous Dexter Doll Causes Public Outrage

A collectible doll of Michael C. Hall's 'Dexter' character from the Showtime series is being sold at Toys 'R' Us stores across the country, and parent's aren't happy.

Aol.com news reports that an Ohio man named Jim Shultz freaked out after he saw one of the fictional serial killer dolls at his local Toys R Us store."I thought, 'Oh my god! You've got this in Toys R Us? Are you kiddin' me?' "

The Action figure comes with gloves (bloody, of course), a handsaw, and a welder's mask. The box says "America's Favorite Serial Killer," across the top.

"When you think of Toys R Us, you think of it as a happy place where children go to be entertained and to have toys that not would be classified with violence and promoting violence," crime victim advocate Andy Kahan told AOL News. "The reality, like it or not, [is that] the main character of 'Dexter' is a serial killer, plain and simple."

Ok, understandable. But this isn't the first time in the history of history that a doll based on a fictional serial killer has been sold, fyi. If other fake serial killer dolls have been ok, why not Dexter?

I mean, Chucky, the angry red headed crazy killing child doll from the 'Child's Play' movies was a massive hit.  He's a doll who kills! And he's got crazy red hair! There were even more dolls made of Chucky as the 'Child's Play' movies made sequels. The next dolls had scary Chucky's face mangled and they were super popular. No one freaked out about them. His red hairline seems to have been pushed back with increased killing, not that it's a problem. It's just something I noticed. His face is tore up!

Websites are selling tons of these dolls like it's just fine and dandy to sell 'murderous dolls'.  "Seed Of Chucky Doll Set: Murderous dolls want to prove that the family that slays together, stays together. Set of 3 includes Chucky, Tiffany and their son, Glen. Each has rooted hair and movie-accurate accessories."  It's basically just like selling bananas, but different, right? Their kids name is Glen. I love it.

A Freddy Krueger doll from the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' series is also made, and people collect the sh*t out of this guy. He's creepy, and I wouldn't want him in my house, but this is America, where everyone is free by law to collect creepy killing dolls right?

There's also Jason dolls from the 'Friday the 13th' movie series. Check out this Wacky Wobbler. It's totally wacky!

This lady does not look happy with her Dexter doll purchase. Perhaps she should just get a refund and get her money back and go on to live her life and stop obsessing about serial killing dolls and their availability. I mean, people can cruise the internet and buy sex slaves in real life these days from Taiiwan, wouldn't that be more important to get angry about? I'm just saying. Sorry you're mad at your doll lady.
