Telltale Games has dropped release specifics for Back to the Future: The Game.
PC and Mac platforms will get the game in December, with PS3 and iPad versions to follow.
Describing the game as “a completely new adventure”, Back To The Future is set after the events of Back to the Future III. The retail timing is equally convenient – a 25th anniversary edition of the Back to the Future trilogy goes on sale this week on DVD and Blu-ray.
Marty and Doc embark on a completely new cinematic time-travel adventure. The story unfolds across five exciting episodes, with a new installment releasing each month.
The asking price for PC/Mac: $USD24.95. $USD1.00 from every pre-order placed at telltalegames.com will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Pre-order fiends also get access to a closed forum on the Telltale site where they are being promised the opportunity to chat with developers.
We’ve put in a mail to Telltale Games asking about the absence of Xbox 360 and Wii versions – we’ll update with their response.
