Who’s next to join the ranks of Itagaki, Double Fine and Guillermo del Toro at THQ? We’re going to find out on October 19, according to the company’s core head Danny Bilson.

Bilson told VG247 it will announce another “big-game maker” that will join the ranks of Valhalla Games Studios, Double Fine and the Hollywood director in a week-and-a-half from now.

“We’re gonna announce another piece of talent in two weeks that’s a big game-maker,” he told Nathan Grayson in the second part of our interview with him.

“On October 19, I believe, we’re gonna announce this other big game-maker joining us.”

At E3, THQ announced it had teamed up with Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki to create Devil’s Third for PS3 and 360. It’ll be out at some point in 2012.

The publisher is also working with Tim Schafer’s Double Fine on PSN and XBLA title Costume Quest, which was dated earlier this week for October 20, as well as a second unknown downloadable title early next year.

Guillermo del Toro confirmed a while back he was working with THQ on his gaming-related project. Bilson didn’t officially confirm the director was working with the company in our interview, however.
