Media Create released its hardware figures for the week of November 1-7, and it finds the DS brand on top again this week in combined SKUs.
However, broken down by individual SKU, PSP and PS3 came in first and second on the chart respectively, where as last week, DSi LL was in second place and besting PS3 by 3,882 units.
Wii moved 1,189 units less than last week, and Xbox 360 ended up moving 17 units less this week, than the week prior. PS2 moved 60 units less than last week.
At this point in the year, the PSP brand is only352,779 units away from tying with the DS brand for the year, which is rather good on Sony’s end considering it has two models out in the wild compared to Nintendo’s three.
However, lifetime to date, the current DS line-up is 15,889,041 ahead of PSP models – and PSP is carrying the brunt as LtD for PSP Go in Japan is at 134,015.
