Creatures That Inspire Lady Gaga’s Outfits

Danny Licht

Is she a fashion designer? Is she the Polaroid spokeswoman? Is she a monster? Has she a poker face? Is she even a she? Well, she’s definitely the biggest mystery in pop. Oh, and she’s very strange. Here are the things that inspire Gaga's wardrobe.

Cruella De Vil

Some people are evil, and some people dress like they’re evil. Gaga is one, De Vil is both.

Catwoman

This one can be described as Catwoman’s provocative funeral attire, topped off by an enormous, plastic, black blob of ribbon.

Giant Marshmallow Man

Lady Gaga here becomes an enormous platter of marshmallow, topped with more marshmallow. Just add Rice Krispies.

Violet Beauregarde

Silly Gaga, you’re not in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory… and don’t let that chocolate give you any ideas for an outfit.

The Devil

Gaga looks HOT in this classic combinations of red lingerie and hair shaped like the sun, inspired by the god of fire, Beelzebub himself. Gaga pulls it off with class and charm.

The Butcher

This is a personal favorite. I really like the way she combines rib-eye and filet mignon on the same, tartare dish. It was inspired by classic butchers and taxidermists, and applied in a very classy way.

Queen Midas

Inspired by the Chilean gold miners and the king who turned what he touched to gold, Gaga really just impressed everyone with her sparkle.

Disco Stu

Gaga really imbues a feeling of overwhelming lights and noise with this one. By the way, she must have spent thousands upon thousands on that disco-Frankenstein-pointed-boobs thing; couldn’t she have picked up a pair of new tights?

What will she think of next? Tell us in the comments below.
