Menu system for The Elder Scrolls V explained in great detail

In more drip feed news on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Game Informer has posted up details on the game’s menus system.

Who cares about a game’s menus system you ask? Well, you do silly, especially when it involves a game with as much character detail as an Elder Scrolls game.

Game Informer’s feature on Skyrim’s menu system is quite detailed and thorough, and apparently the Todd Howard and the rest of the team derived inspiration for it from Apple’s iTunes menu system.

“One of our goals was ‘What if Apple made a fantasy game? How would this look?'” said Howard. “It’s very good at getting through lots of data quickly, which is always a struggle with our stuff.”
