WikiLeaks: The Movie?

C.J. Arabia

Stephen Spielberg's Dreamworks has purchased the rights to two books about WikiLeaks, including one about the site's stormy relationship with their bizarre and tyrannical leader Julian Assange.

The first book is titled, "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy," and it really pissed off Julian Assange who has threatened to sue because the book says that he refused to protect the names of Afghan informants, and said that they would "deserve it" if they were killed. What a D-bag.

The 2nd book is called, "Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website," and that book just came out a few weeks ago and it's no kinder. It basically says that Julian is a man obsessed with conspiracy theories, that he's controlling and secretive and that he behaves "like some kind of emperor or slave trader." Doh!

But Julian has bigger battles to fight than books and possible movies. He's still fighting rape allegations, claims that he's fathered several children, allegations that he is a Jew hating anti-semite and another website that rivals WikiLeaks called OpenLeaks

So who would play Julian Assange?

Not a bad idea. You know what I love. I love when Bill Hader does Julian Assange on Saturday Night Live. That man is a friggin' genius. Maybe he could play Julian in the movie.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see a WikiLeaks movie? The Social Network was nominated for several Oscars. Maybe Spielberg smells Oscar gold.

Who do you think should play Julian Assange in the WikiLeaks movie?

Let's discuss in the comments below.
