The new Beastie Boys album is two weeks away from droppin' and to wet your appetite the boys have released a new video for "Make Some Noise."
You probably saw this short film trailer that they released earlier this month...
The new video is jam packed with super cool super stars like Ted Danson, Will Arnett, David Cross, Steve Buscemi, Rainn Wilson, Orlando Bloom, Rashida Jones, Susan Sarandon, Chloe Sevigny, Alicia Silverstone, Amy Poehler, and many many more. This video has more celebs than an Oscars telecast.
So in this new short film for "Make Some Noise" also known as "Fight for Your Right Revisited," the 1980's version of the Beasties are played by Elija Wood (Ad-Rock), Danny McBride (MCA) & Seth Rogen (Mike D)... Wait... Frodo is Ad-Rock??????
That's right beetches!
Later in the video the future middle-aged version of the Beasties are played by Will Ferrell, Jack Black & John C. Reilly!
"This is something you can't even make sense of until you've been to the future and spent time there," Black says in the trailer.
The 80's Beasties set off on a drunken spree that culminates when they run into their future selves... get into a fight over who are the REAL Beastie Boys and attempt to settle things with a DANCE OFF.
Eventually, the cops arrive in the form of the actual Beasties.
There are a lot of surprises in the video... for instance, they aren't credited but I'm pretty sure I saw Danny Masterson and Zach Galifianakis in there somewhere... am I crazy?
