Once upon a time, there was a game called Duke Nukem Forever that was delayed for many, many years. Then it popped up at a UK tech show just before it released. Funny old world.
2K Games has announced that ever-so-politically-correct Duke Nukem Forever will be available to play at The Gadget Show Live 2011, from April 12-17 at Birmingham’s NEC Arena. Or tomorrow-Sunday, for those without a calendar to hand.
If you’re heading to the show and want to go hands-on with Mr Nukem, you’ll want to head to stand number GZ183.
2K will also be giving away Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club certificates – try saying that three times fast – which will offer you unique Duke content, updates and early access to the demo.
You’ll also have the chance to grab hold of Duke Nukem apparel – though sadly not his boots or shades – in the form of t-shirts and badges.
Developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, Duke Nukem Forever is due to hit our shores on Friday, June 10 in Europe and Tuesday, June 14 in the US. That’s 2011. Honest.
