That's right... Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world has come out... So let's get to know a few of the world's most influential people shall we? Some are artists, activists, comedians, reformers, researchers, pop stars, heads of state and captains of industry... Regardless what you think of Time Magazines list, it's clearly meant to spark conversation and maybe even controversy...
Justin Bieber
Everyone's favorite teen idol/pop star is up there with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Nicolas Sarcozy. He's got millions of minions who will RT anything he asks them to at a moment's notice. Whether you hate him, love him or love to hate him, the mere fact that we think of him at all makes him a pretty influential dude.
Though he mockingly jokes that Charlie Sheen should be one of the worlds top 100 Influential People we all know that Charlie's power pales in comparison to the Biebs.
Mark Wahlberg
There are very few people who haven't been influenced by Mark Wahlberg's 12-pack abs. I am influenced by them all the time. I'm being influenced by them right now as a matter of fact.
Amy Poehler
It's been said that Amy is as kind and caring as she is hilarious. For many years she made us laugh on Saturday Night Live, delivering the news with a smirky and a snarky quip... adding much needed perspective to the most serious of news events. There's nothing this lady can't do.
Bruno Mars
Bruno, who is only 25 years old seems to be able to do it all. He can sing, play, write and produce. I read that when Bruno performs live, nothing is prerecorded or fudged - it's all him and it sounds amazing. How do you feel after listing to some Bruno Mars? Do you feel influenced? I know I do.
Mark Zuckerberg
What is up with his face? He looks like a friggin' space alien. Zuckerberg is as influential as he is annoying... which makes him UBER influential.
Barack Obama
Love him or hate him Barack Obama is truly one of the most influential people on the planet. He is the leader of the free world. He's head of the most powerful nation in the world. Donald Trump may not be a fan, but I'm not much of a fan of Trumps, so I frankly don't give a crap about what Trump has to say and that might be why I don't see Trump's name on the list.
There are a lot of people you'd expect to see on the list like Oprah, but I was kind of surprised that Lady Gaga wasn't on the list this year... she was on it last year, but I guess her influential powers are slipping. She did record this super pretentious and annoying message about how much she admires Deepak Chopra, I think she was hoping that he'd make the cut.
But he didn't and I can't help but think that maybe this obnoxious video is directly responsible for his absence on the list.
