Certain Affinity has announced Crimson Alliance, an action-RPG slated for a summer 2011 release.
According to the game’s Facebook page and NeoGAF, the title will be devoid of RPG staples such as “tedious backpack rummaging, and boring dialog.”
A full game reveal is expected tonight at the Rooster Teeth fan event in Austin, Texas and it will also be on hand at E3 next month.
The game will be playable on Xbox Live which goes right along with the Xbox 360 listing which popped up recently over on the Australian Classifications Board website. The game will have a single and multiplayer component as well as the ability to play alongside a buddy on your couch – according to the Facebook page linked above.
Certain Affinity are the folks behind the Defiant map pack for Halo: Reach and the Halo 2 Blastacular map pack. The developer has also had a hand in titles such as: Black Ops, Left 4 Dead, World at War, Halo Waypoint, and were the developers behind Age of Booty.
Thanks, ScrawlFX.
