NIS details Bleach, Atelier Totori, ClaDun x2

NIS has gone on a detail-giving rampage regarding its upcoming PlayStation titles Bleach, Atelier Totori, and ClaDun x2.

According to a post over on the US PS Blog, the first two will be released on PS3, with CalnDun x2 hitting PSP.

Bleach: Soul Resurrección is exclusive to PS3, and in it you play as Ichigo Kurosaki which will follow the current story arc of the anime series. Players will be tasked with stopping Aizen who “threatens the peace of both the Soul Society and the World of the Living with his army of evil Arrancars.”

It’s a cell-shaded hack and slash game with various modes allowing you to play 21 selectable characters from the Bleach series. Each one has his or her own unique combo moves, and as you defeat enemies, you will earn “Soul Points” which can be used to upgrade your character. This is done by using the upgrade map system, which is unique to each character.

Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, which was announced for a western release earlier this month, will include access to many new areas and some familiar ones as well – if you have played the series before. Like the previous Atelier games, you can look forward to multiple endings depending on your actions. The Adventurer of Arland is set for release this fall.

Finally, NIS detailed ClaDun x2 for PSP, which will be released exclusively on PSN this summer. ClaDun games are action-based dungeon-crawlers with RPG elements and a graphical homage to 8-bit games.

The goal is to progress through dungeons and level your party members, and leveling is accomplished through the “Magic Circle” system, which provides you with various ways to structure your group. The characters you place in your Magic Circle will determine their strengths and weaknesses as well.

ClaDun will contain “more dungeons, updated weapons, more items, more Magic Circles, new monsters, and of course new custom character classes,” and changes with this version include:

  • An updated character edit system with movement animations, and weapons.
  • Ran-geons are back.
  • Neo-geons Tri-geons are back.

The post closes out with the lovely Disgaea 4 trailer posted last week. Our favorite one of the year so far.
