They haven't destroyed any national monuments or burned any churches to the ground... but so far the Jersey Shore cast has wracked up a TON of parking tickets, angered the Italian people for their racist interpretation of Italians, gotten into a fist fight and now THIS!
Jersey Shore's Chilean Guidette Snooki was taken into custody by police Monday in Florence, Italy.
All of this came because Snooki crashed her Italian rental car into the back of an Italian police cruiser. Even though it was a low speed crash, Snooki managed to wedge her car between the cop car and a dividing wall.
Snooki wedged her car in so tight that her passenger Dina had to crawl out the window... I'm guessing that was more of a photo opp than anything. I mean it looks like she could have climbed into the back seat and just gotten out one of the back doors.
Maybe she thought she was playing bumper cars on the Jersey boardwalk? Or maybe she was too short to see over the steering wheel? Who knows, but police say that alcohol was not involved and that my friends is the most SHOCKING part of this whole story.
The police car that she smashed into was a Jersey Shore escort vehicle, assigned to escort the cast and crew around town. It was part of the show. She KNEW it was there and yet she STILL crashed into it.
The two (male and female) police officers inside the cruiser were both taken to a nearby emergency room in an ambulance to be treated for whiplash!
Snooki's wingman Dina was treated for cuts and had some bruises. The pair were taken into custody and escorted to an Italian police station, which is why there were reports yesterday that they had been arrested... but it turns out that after filling out a bunch of paperwork and going over what happened with Italian authorities the pair were released.

Unfortunately no arrests were made.
The people and press of Italy have nicknamed the cast "Supercafoni" which basically means "idiot."
Season 4 of the Jersey Shore is looking to be quite the season. Do you think these guys are going to get into more trouble before the season is over? Do you think Snooki should have been arrested?
