Suda: Shadows of the Damned will last around 10-hours, depending on difficulty selected

Goichi Suda has said that depending upon the difficulty level selected by the player, Shadows of the Damned will last around the 10-hour mark.

“It depends on the degree of difficulty, probably about 10 hours,” Suda told MeriStation. “Maybe more if you try to collect everything.”

In the game, you are basically packing a demon around in your hand so one would naturally assume the latest motion controls from Sony and Microsoft would come in handy – especially the former. However, Suda said neither will be supported in the game. This is due to the control scheme implemented, and also because the release dates announced for both Move and Kinect “influenced,” the developer’s decision.

Grasshopper does have a Kinect game in the works though, as we all know called Codename D, which uses Kinect; therefore, the studio is not adverse to motion controls. Plus, No More Heroes: Hero’s Paradise was released on PS3 in Japan with Move support and is slated for release in the US this summer.
