En Masse Entertainment has announced its oft-delayed TERA will be released during spring 2012.
According to the press release, “development and production continues to both add new features as well as refine confirmed elements to deliver an innovative, action packed experience.” So, there’s you reason for the delay -polishing and the addition of more content. Can’t complain about that, really.
“Adding time to our schedule will help us ensure we exceed people’s expectations for TERA,” said Chris Lee, publishing VP of En Masse Entertainment. “The game’s action combat and depth has generated a lot of interest, and we are committed to making sure every aspect of the game lives up to our standard of quality.”
Alpha testing is scheduled to begin later this year, and around the beginning of 2012, the open beta test will launch.
To see what you’ll be getting into next spring, En Masse released a few screens for the game, which you can enjoy below.
