Telltale has expanded its licensor agreement with Sony and Nintendo in order to release its PS3 games at retail.
The first game to be released from the firm on disc will be Back to the Future: The Game, and it’s slated for an October release for $19.99.
“Expanding our publishing agreement with SCEA ensures that our distribution channel encompasses the full spectrum of Sony video game consumers”, said Telltale co-founder and CEO, Dan Connors in the press release. “We are pleased to solidify our first-party publishing agreements and look forward to continuing our overall growth as an innovative interactive entertainment publisher.
“Securing a publishing agreement with Nintendo of America ensures that we can make our popular content available on every major console platform. This signing is a significant milestone in our long-term growth strategy. Back to the Future: The Game is a great fit for the Wii platform and we’re excited to bring it to retail this holiday.”
Back in April, the firm announced it had signed an agreement to publish games for Xbox 360. This agreement will see Jurassic Park: The Game arrive on the console via disc format, instead of digitally for Man, PC, and PSN. It is set to arrive on November 13.
