Blizzard has provided some information regarding two of the magical artifacts Dibalo III players will acquire in the game.
One, called the Cauldron of Jordan, is a nifty item which allows the player to drop junk items or bag items they don’t want, turning it into gold. Think of it as an invisible merchant, because it will provide you the same amount of coin a shopkeeper would. Granted, you will be able to use the Stone of Recall to head back into town from where you’re at, but you may not feel like it at times, especially if you are in the middle of a dungeon and are trying to loot a body and are just needing bag space.
The other artifact detailed by Blizzard was the Nephalem Cube, which works a bit like the Horadric Cube, but it gives the player raw ingredients from the destroyed item inserted in to it. The later gives players a new or modified item. According to the post, the more powerful the item is, the more rare ingredients you’ll get back. These can then be handed over to your three artisans crafters, the Blacksmith, Jeweler, and Mystic, who will make items for you.
That was just a summary of the post, as you can read the entire thing through Battle.net.
Blizzard told VG247 earlier in the week that it is “very close” to beginning the public beta of Diablo III, which was revealed in May to be slated for Q3 this year.
Thanks, VoodooExtreme.
