So check this out...a high school in the UK, Shelley College, has banned its students from wearing any make-up. It seems too many of the girls were pushing the limit of the school's 'discreet make-up policy' so the school decided to ban the use of it altogether. I guess people have different ideas of what discreet means. I'm looking at you, Picasso face!
Now, there was a secondary problem related to those tramps-in-training. They would constantly congregate in the loo because, as a school official puts it, "they were attracted to the mirrors," even going so far as to eat their lunch in the toilet stalls. I don't know about you but NOTHING stimulates my appetite more than the faint smells of poos past.
So what's a school that loves to go to extremes to do? They removed all the mirrors, of course! I love to picture these girls hyperventilating over the thought of not being able to look at themselves all day. I guess they'll just have to take their sexy mirror fail pics at home!
Although most of the girls have accepted the ban and the mirror removal, the make-up junkies are crying angry mascara-streaked tears and screeching "Bollocks"! They say that wearing make-up gives them confidence. Rebecca Mannifield, 14, has this to say about the zero-tolerance policy: "It’s okay that we’re all in it together, you realize nobody is no prettier or uglier, we all just look normal." Wow. Don't worry, ladies, I'm sure you'll find other ways to feel superior to your fellow classmates.
And if the ban becomes too much for you to bear, I'm sure there are other schools that will gladly accept teen trollops!
What say you? Is this school bonkers or do these girls need to get a grip? Let me know @desijedeikin or in the comments below!
