It looks as though PlayStation Vita’s browser won’t support Flash at launch, according to a Famitsu report.
It will, however, support Javascript version 1.7 and HTML5 upon release.
The report also states users will be able to transfer save files from previous PSP games through PS3 or PC to continue playing where left off with bi-linear filtering enabled in order to smooth out textures from PSP’s 270p to Vita’s 540p screen.
The Famitsu FAQ also noted that Game Archives titles will not be supported at launch, which supports downloadable PsOne and TurboGrafx-16 titles in Japan.
Since Vita is suppoedly compatible with PsOne games, support for the feature will possibly be released in an update sometime after launch.
