Halo: Anniversary map DLC available day one

Those who don’t pick up Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition can still check out its new multiplayer maps, thanks to a release date map pack compatible with Halo: Reach.

Gamespot reports the new maps included with Anniversary will go for 1,200 MS Points when launched as DLC on November 15.

Playlists will start popping up on November 14 so you should be good to go the moment Anniversary launches.

The seven new maps are Battle Canyon, Breakneck, High Noon, Penance, Ridgeline, Solitary, and Installation 04 – six competitive maps and one Firefight offering.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition launches on November 15, exclusively for Xbox 360. Its multiplayer is compatible with that of Halo: reach, the last entry in the series.
