In what has to be the biggest Star Wars related fail since Darth Vader's "NOOOOO!" was added to the Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Complete Saga, we now have Yoda hocking Cup O Noodles. Yup. Someone needs to hurl Emperor Lucas down into the abyss. DO WANT!
The commercial is basically Yoda using the power of The Force to boil water. Yeah. Not quite as important as using The Force to like restore balance to the galaxy or something. I mean I would totally use The Force for stupid crap all the time but this is YODA WE'RE TALKING ABOUT! The only thing more disturbing than Yoda the Pitchman is the commercial's tagline:
Uuuummmm...WHA!?! How about we boil George Lucas, because he seems kind of determined to ruin everything that we all hold dear and frankly I can't take it anymore. What's next? Luke Skywalker shilling for OkCupid? A limited-edition Death Star GPS system? Princess Leia losing weight with Jenny Craig? Do you not have enough millions, George Lucas? WHY MUST YOU GET SO MUCH PLEASURE FROM TORTURING US?
Respect George Lucas, Yoda does not. Join the club, Yoda.
