Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was the big winner at the PlayStation Awards today, winning a quadruple platinum award.
The awards, which are given based on sales, seen the Monster Hunter development team pick up ¥4 million from Sony for its success.
Gold awards, which were given to games which sold 500,000 awards or more, were awarded to Final Fantasy Type-0, Winning Eleven 2011, Gran Turismo 5, Dynasty Warriors 7, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD and Tales of Xillia.
Winners of the user’s choice awards included MHP3rd, Black Ops, Gran Turismo 5, Catherine, Dynasty Warriors 6, Modern Warfare 2 and Dark Souls.
