The latest game from Game Dev Story creators, Kairosoft, has released for Android phones. The game is called Epic Astro Story, and tasks players with eeking out a life and building a society on an alien planet.
Kairosoft has released a number of simulation games in the year (15 months) since Game Dev Story debuted in the West. However, none of them have struck a chord quite as well as GDS. Hot Springs Story, Grand Prix Story and Mega Mall Story all had their own merits, but hopefully a galactic settlement will help spark the imaginations of mobile gamers the way creating “Mass Affect 3” did back in 2010.
