Well the internet had been a ghost town over the holiday weekend, but things started buzzing yesterday! The twitterverse was in a tizzy and Taylor Lautner was trending, prompting me to think the ridiculously embarrassing sentence, "What is going on with Taylor Lautner!?!" After a little sleuthing I discovered that, apparently his 'Coming Out' People Magazine cover had been leaked! WHA??? Hai Taylor!
Well, it wasn't long before the cover was revealed to be a FAAAAAKE! But don't feel too stupid if you believed the hoax, there were some pretty high-profile people who believed the news too, including Russell Simmons who tweeted ' Proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and courage'. I tried to get a screen cap of that tweet but it was already removed. So alls I gots was Uncle Rush's follow-up tweet. U mad, bro?
Taylor Lautner has not yet commented on the whole shebang. He's probably holed up in a snowed in cabin reading James Joyce's Ulysses for the fourth time. I kid, I kid. We all know he's probably doing crunches, not eating carbs and practicing different 'acting' faces somewhere. The face below is called " Raggy?? Ruh Roh!" Yeah he can play dogs too, y'all.
After the rumored cover first hit the internets, it was also rumored that his ex Taylor Swift wrote a song about it called 'If I were a boy...' where she questioned whether or not boy Taylor ever loved her. Then she found out it was all a lie and she wrote another song saying she was sorry she ever doubted their love called 'Our Love Was Real (Unlike, Your People Magazine 'Coming Out' Cover). Both songs suck, so naturally they will be on her upcoming album. These rumors will also be proved untrue.
So Team Jacob can breath a sigh of relief, you still have the same chance you did before of landing Taylor Lautner. Zero percent. And as funny as the Taylor Lautner fake People Magazine 'Coming Out' cover was, it is still only the second greatest Taylor Lautner Photoshop prank. Taylor Laut-moobs will always reign supreme.
