Eurogamer Network hits 5.7 million unique users

Eurogamer Network traffic rose 10% year-over-year for November 2011, the company said today, quoting figures from its latest ABC audit.

ABC’s confirmed that 5,778,816 unique browsers visited Eurogamer’s sites in November, clocking up 42 million page impressions. Eurogamer launched into its latest state in late October.

The numbers do not include traffic to Eurogamer’s other English-language sites, GamesIndustry.biz and IndustryGamers.com, or to partner sites VG247, Rock, Paper, Shotgun and NintendoLife.com, “which have also shown amazing growth during the last 12 months,” EG said in a press release.

Total reach across all Eurogamer network sites now exceeds 10 million unique users per month.

“We believe that independent certification is the strongest possible way to prove your traffic to partners and clients. We’re thrilled to show our twelfth consecutive year of growth across the network,” said Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer network operations director.

“Last year we relaunched the site in 10 languages simultaneously, giving ourselves a fantastic new publishing platform to build upon, and already this year we’re driving forward with significant investment in new editorial and other new projects. I have no doubt the sites will be even stronger when we report our figures for 2012.”

MD Rupert Loman added: “The continued growth of Eurogamer is at the core of our business and we’re very pleased with the figures. This year we will also deliver the biggest and best ever Eurogamer Expo, and have huge plans for GamesIndustry.biz and our US operations. We’re looking forward to another great year.”
