GDC organizers have announced three more panels for the main conference, with visual arts tracks from Rocksteady and Sony, and a production track session from Double Fine.
The first visual arts lecture announced is titled “Batman: Arkham City – Journey from the Asylum to the City,” where Rocksteady art director David Hego will discuss ‘the evolution and creative process” behind the game.
A second lecture ob visual arts from Sony artist Yoshiaki Yamaguchi will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the art direction of Vita’s Gravity Rush called “Bringing the Visuals of Gravity Rush to PlayStation Vita.”
In a session titled “Creative Panic: How Agility Turned Terror Into Triumph,” Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, Lee Petty, Brad Muir, and Nathan Martz will explain how the firm’s Amnesia Fortnight process was used to create prototypes for Stacking, Once Upon A Monster, and Iron Brigade.
