Mojang expects to release its first major update since Minecraft’s official launch any time now.
“I think we’ll update Minecraft to 1.1 tomorrow,” Mojang’s Jens Bergensten said on Twitter. Tomorrow in this case refers to January 12, European time.
According to the Minecraft Wiki‘s list of expected changes, and those already included in regular pre-release builds, we can expect support for multiple new languages.
Sheep will return to eating grass, and regenerating their wool – although they’ll produce less – and the golden apple is expected to be nerfed.
On the bright side, a number of bugs will be squashed.
Thanks, Gamefront.
