3DS software topped Japanese sales in January, says Enterbrain

Famitsu publisher Enterbrain has said 3DS software topped the hardware monthly totals for last month in Japan.

Mario Kart 7 came first in the list with sales of 388,760, followed by the 319,037 units sold for Monster Hunter 3G. Super Mario 3D Land came third with 298,529, giving Nintendo a top-three trio.

Other new entries include Armored Core V in fourth with 170,237 units sold, followed by fifth-placed Resident Evil Revelations with 160,575 units.
