Mass Effect 3 demo available through Facebook app

Solve a puzzle and jump on board the Mass Effect 3 demo ahead of its official release on Valentine’s Day.

As some of you have already noticed, you can get early access to the demo on Xbox 360 by using a Facebook app.

If you don’t solve the puzzle on your first try, you can try again in two hours. Otherwise, stick it out until the demo’s official release on console networks this Tuesday. Can’t be bothered with that? Watch someone else play it.

This app appears to be separate from Mission Command, which rewards dedicated US fans with Avatar items and merchandise.

Mass Effect 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March.
