As we all know, Japan puts its’ cities’ stray cats online and lets people vote for their favorite. SO that’s already happening. NOW things are going to a whole new level as these cats have come together to form a cat supergroup. Introducing the cutest group of Japanese celebrities ever -- NKB48!
Yes, the winners of many local cat “elections” have come together to form a group of the MOST POWERFUL cats the world has ever seen. It’s like when the Lakers put Shaq together with Kobe. Except cuter! Look at how much cuter this cat idol is than Kobe!
This is a take-off of Japanese supergroup AKB48, a band with 57 members and four teams that compete for the Japanese public’s votes. Only the highest vote-getters get to sing on the bands single. So it looks like this will be the structure for this new cat supergroup – 48 cats will compete for your votes. It’ll probably look like this:
The ten most popular cats of the 48 were out on products like postcards and handkerchiefs and sticker sheets and whatnot. Needless to say, they were adorable.
With NKB48 poised to take over at least the internet, where cats are the most popular thing, Japan’s theory that combining many awesome things into one big awesome thing is proven right again. This is of course known as the Megazord principle.
