Conflict resolution got much easier for me at age 12 when my mom bought me Mortal Kombat II on the Sega Genesis. I learned that calm, rational discussion was useless, and that the only way to get what you wanted was to throw fireballs and kick widly as you scream! Yes, Mortal kombat certainly left a mark on me; one nearly as permanent as the mark left on these tattooed Kombatants! Is that what we call Mortal Kombat fans? "Kombatants"? I'm going to run with "Kombatants".
