7 Most Offensive Disney Characters

The world of entertainment hasn’t always been as progressive as it is today. There was a time when the only roles available to actors of color where maids and house cleaners. But that’s not the case anymore, because occasionally they get to play a cop or a computer hacker. Hey, change takes time, dammit! Of course, one of the biggest perpetrators of regressive characters types was Disney. So in honor of that, we’ve put together a list of the 7 Most Offensive Disney Characters:

Siamese Cats, Lady and the Tramp

These cats are such a western stereotype of the “Oriental”, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the script's first draft all their dialogue was just "Ching Chong, Ching Chong". I guess at least we can be thankful they weren't also conjoined twins.

Ariel, The Little Mermaid

She's a materialistic woman with Daddy issues, who just wants more, more, MORE, despite already having an entire cave filled with crap from the land. Then, she gives up her an entire life to be with a guy she doesn't know at all, and hasn't even really met, but he’s attractive. What a role model!

Jafar, Aladdin

This guy looks like he was drawn for an anti-arab propaganda pamphlet. And it doesn't help that Aladdin essentially just looks like a white guy who tans a bit.

Everything About Song of the South, Song of the South

Offensive Disney Characters

A movie so uncomfortably racist, Disney has never released it on VHS/DVD, despite a large demand from collectors that would assuredly reap them a profit. That's right, it's so racist Disney is uncomfortable making money off of it.

Dejah Thoris, John Carter

Anyone familiar with Martians knows why this character is so INCREDIBLY offensive, so I'm not going to bother dwelling on it...

Jennifer Garner, The Odd Life of Timothy Green

Offensive Disney Characters

It's offensive that any studio head thinks people are interested in paying to see the dullest actress on Earth. Also, I just wanted to get on the record how absolutely dumb this movie looks.

Jeffrey Dahmer, Dahmed for All Time

Offensive Disney Characters

I think it's just offensive that Disney made a musical about Jeffrey Dahmer's life. 'Eating you is Easy 'Cause You're Delicious ' is just a tasteless, tasteless song, and is available on itunes now.
